Choosing The Best Advertising Method

It is pretty clear that your product may not be sought by each and every person. You need to find your target market and let the message reach them effectively rather than advertising haphazardly. So here are a few things you need to consider when choosing an advertising method which suits best.

1. Demographics
You need to be able to analyze your target market according to common demographic factors such as age, gender, income level etc. This information will then be important when deciding the kind of marketing campaign you could do, since different types of people respond to different advertisements. For example, older customers would rather like a traditional way of printed advertisements rather than a video production in Singapore while a much younger customer will respond to the opposite.

2. Location
You need to make sure you use only advertising methods that could reach the correct customer base. Analyze where each advertising method could reach and choose only the appropriate one for your product. Also, analyze the areas that your customers mostly hang out and target such areas.

3. Message
You have only a few second to give out your message; be it video marketing or printed marketing. Hence, you need to squeeze your message and give out all relevant information in just a few seconds. Use attractive phrases and colours so that you can grab the attention of the reader directly.

4. Frequency
Your advertisement should be sent among people frequently. Nobody remembers an ad that went on TV just once. The more they see it, the more they remember. Hence always make sure to keep advertising frequently. Let one station play your advertisement many times rather than giving many TV stations play it only a few times. You could then be able to let the ad get stuck on the customers head.

5. Budget
You need to decide on a budget range that you are willing and able to spend on the marketing campaign. Businesses should be very careful in selecting a range since some may tend to go overboard and decide on a budget way above while some may decide on something too low. You cannot expect good results without spending a handy amount and hence you should not set a budget too low. The danger in a higher budget is obviously the risk of payment default.

Whatever you decide to do, do it expecting results and not just for the sake of doing it. Experimenting is fine, however you need to remember that you are tying up large sums of money on marketing and hence you need to be more responsible in making decisions.
